Fees & Insurance
For self-pay and out of network clients, the cost for a diagnostic, or initial, interview is $160. All therapy sessions, which typically last between 45 to 50 minutes, cost $150. The cost for family therapy sessions, which also last between 45 and 50 minutes, is $170. Sliding scale rates are also available for clients on a case by case basis and can be discussed upon request. Fees for supportgroups may vary and will be provided upon request.
Psychological evaluations are billed at $150 per unit (the specific amount of units are based on the type of testing needed). Explanation of the amount of units required will be explained to each client upon request.
Peace of Mind Psychological Services, LLC accepts many insurance plans, including Blue Cross/Blue Shield, Cigna, Aetna, Medicaid, Cenpatico/Peach state, Amerigroup, and Wellcare. If we are not in network with your insurance company, we can provide you a bill to send to your insurance company for reimbursement.
You are responsible for understanding the specific benefits your insurance policy provides. You are also responsible for letting Peace of Mind Psychological Services, LLC know about any changes made to your insurance plan or coverage prior to your next visit, to avoid incurring any additional costs. The following are questions we suggest you ask and are aware of
• Do I have mental health insurance benefits?
• What is my deductible and has it been met?
• How many sessions per year does my health insurance cover?
• What is the coverage amount per therapy session?
• Is approval required from my primary care physician?
Forms of payment
Peace of Mind Psychological Services, LLC accepts many forms of payment including cash, check and major credit cards with the VISA and Master Card logo. In some cases, Health Savings Plans with Visa and Master Card logos are also accepted. Any returned checks are subject to a $30 fee.
If you do not show up for your scheduled appointment, or cancel in less than 24 hours, you will be required to pay half the price of the session, which in most cases is $75.
