Dr. Brianna Gaynor is the Director of Peace of Mind Psychological Services. She is a Clinical Psychologist who works with children, adolescents, and adults “helping them find peace in every situation.”  She specializes in providing therapy and conducting psychological evaluations.  Specifically, during therapy Dr. Gaynor guides and encourages clients to become empowered, cope more effectively with life stressors, and embrace their personal circumstances.  She also completes comprehensive psychological evaluations which assess one’s strengths, weaknesses, and specific treatment needs. Dr. Gaynor creates a caring, supportive, and collaborative therapeutic environment for each client she works with.

Dr. Gaynor received her Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology from Drexel University in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.  She received her Master’s and Doctorate degree in Clinical Psychology from the Georgia School of Professional Psychology/Argosy Atlanta in 2009.  She has been licensed as a Clinical Psychologist in the state of Georgia since May 2011.  Her training while in graduate school focused primarily on the treatment of children, adolescents, and families.  During her internship year she was also trained in faith based therapy and, although not a traditional Christian counselor, has learned how to incorporate faith based techniques for those clients who express a desire to incorporate spirituality in their treatment.

Dr. Gaynor has a passion for working with people from a variety of backgrounds and most enjoys the opportunity to connect with people and help encourage them through their troubles.  She has worked in various settings, including a community mental health center, outpatient treatment facility, mental health hospital in the inpatient and residential treatment units, and various private practices.  In her spare time Dr. Gaynor volunteers with families who have experienced displacement and financial difficulties and has a unique passion for working with youth in both a professional and mentoring role.

Brooke Hudgins, MS, LAPC, is a Licensed Associate Professional Counselor who enjoys working with children, adolescents, and adults providing psychological evaluations. Ms. Hudgins believes not only in the importance of completing an accurate assessment, but also the importance of approaching evaluations with compassion, and making a difference in the lives of those she serves.

Ms. Hudgins obtained her Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from the University of West Georgia and her Master’s Degree in Clinical Psychology from Augusta University. Ms. Hudgins has experience conducting evaluations to assess issues such as anxiety and depression, behavioral problems, ADHD, trauma, substance abuse, intellectual disabilities, learning disorders, and other severe and persistent mental illnesses. She also has experience conducting biopsychosocial assessments for clients suffering from chronic pain, as well as for clients referred from Disability Adjudication Services and the Georgia Vocational Rehabilitation Agency.

Outside of work, Ms. Hudgins enjoys painting, shopping, and spending time with her family, friends, and her dog, Sophie.

Dr. Tanisha Johnson, EdD, LPC. NCC is a Licensed Professional Counselor who works with children, adolescents, adults, families, and groups.  She utilizes intentional interventions based in cognitive behavioral therapy, reality therapy, dialectical behavioral therapy, spirituality, and mindfulness to help individuals and families reach optimal wellness.  She also has conducted comprehensive biopsychosocial and risk assessments.  Her tailored treatment specialties focus on trauma, stress reduction, anxiety, depression, grief and loss, substance use issues, and emotion regulation. 

Dr. Johnson earned her Bachelor of Science in Psychology and a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy from the University of Georgia.  She earned her Master’s Degree in Community Counseling from Argosy University, Atlanta in 2013.  She received her doctorate in Counselor Education and Supervision from Argosy University, Atlanta.  Dr. Johnson has over five years of experience working in various settings, including community based, substance abuse outpatient treatment, detention centers, and education settings. 

In addition to her clinical work, Dr. Johnson is very active within the profession; she is a member of the American Counseling Association and she has served as a Leadership Fellow for Chi Sigma Iota, the counseling profession’s international honor society.  Dr. Johnson has a passion for training and developing new therapists through education and supervision.  She is an instructor within accredited programs.  She also has a passion to mentor and develop new leaders in counseling. 

Ellen Pierce, Ed.S, LPC  is a licensed professional counselor who enjoys individual and family treatment with children, adolescents, and adults. Ms. Pierce motivation and passion is healing others who are experiencing life struggles and are seeking assistance with coping with life stressors including: depression, anxiety, ADHD, anger management, conflict resolution, etc .  She utilizes Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Solution Focused, and Person Centered frameworks. Ms. Pierce has found inspiration in helping individuals and families find healthy perceptions of themselves while strengthening the foundations of family.  

Ms Pierce, obtained her Bachelors Degree in Psychology from Georgia State University, and her Master’s degree in Professional from Argosy University. Ms. Pierce has over 8 years  of experience working in various settings, including : Community Outpatients, Inpatient Psychiatric facilities, Core programs, Managed Care Organizations, and residential treatment facilities.

In her spare time, Ms. Pierce enjoys reading, volunteering with youth programs, and serving the community. Programs and agencies include: The Cool Girls, Girl Scouts of Greater Atlanta, Rockdale County Juvenile, and most recently, Partnership Against Domestic Violence, Gwinnett County Public schools.

LaTonya Bell, MA, LPC is a licensed professional counselor who enjoys individual and family treatment with middle aged children, adolescents, adults and couples. Ms. Bell finds motivation and passion through healing others who are experiencing life struggles and are seeking assistance with coping with life stressors including: mood disorders, ADHD, anger management, relational problems, and conflict resolution.  She utilizes Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Solution Focused Therapy, and Person Centered therapeutic frameworks to address thought processes and behaviors. Ms. Bell has achieved inspiration in assisting individuals and families find healthy perceptions of themselves while strengthening the foundations of family and self.

Ms. Bell has over 10 years of experience working in various clinical settings including: Community Outpatient programs, Inpatient Psychiatric facilities, Core programs, and Managed Care Organizations.

In her spare time, Ms. Bell, who is an avid sports fan, also enjoys reading, writing novels, and serving the community. Dejerica Tinsley, LCSW is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who has a passion for working with children, adolescents, and the adult population.  Mrs. Tinsley believes therapy is effective when a client takes an active role in achieving their personal goals.  She enjoys helping one discover how to challenge their minds and alter their negative thoughts. She has experience in treating anxiety, depression, behavioral problems, attention hyperactivity deficit disorder, oppositional defiant disorder, conduct disorder, trauma and parent relational child problems. She has experiences in evidence-based practices such as, cognitive behavioral therapy, reality therapy and mindfulness based practices.  

Mrs. Tinsley obtained her Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro and her Master’s Degree in Social Work from the University of North Carolina Charlotte. She then obtained her licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in 2015. She believes that a happy mind is a healthy mind and in order for clients to achieve their goals, they have to be active participants. In her spare time, she enjoys traveling, cooking, decorating (interior design) and reading.

Maria Conte, LPC is a Licensed Professional Counselor. Throughout her professional career, Maria Conte has worked with children, adults, families and groups helping to improve quality of life and well-being.  She achieves these results by offering a caring, understanding and empowering environment for clients to work through life's challenges.  In addition, Maria has a robust background in teaching and training, spanning a diverse range of educational and mental health topics.  

Maria’s expertise includes cognitive-behavioral therapy, psycho-education and structural family therapy.  Her areas of interest include working with families in crisis, child/adolescent issues and parenting.  She also has experience in working with depression, anxiety, behavioral issues, social skills training, mindfulness and employee assistance counseling.  

Maria received her undergraduate degree in Spanish Education from Emory & Henry College and has experience teaching in both elementary and high schools.  The experience that she received while teaching revealed an intense desire to work with families with a primary focus on supporting young people.  Maria’s desire to expand the capacity win which could work with, and support, adolescents and families led her to graduate school.  She received her master’s degree in community counseling from Argosy University in 2013 and became a Licensed Professional Counselor in 2016.
